RC66 Canada Child Benefits Application

Notice to the reader

Apply now for the enhanced Universal child care benefit if you have never applied for the Canada child tax benefit (CCTB) or the Universal child care benefit (UCCB) for a child in your care under the age of 18.

If you have previously applied for the CCTB and/or UCCB for a child in your care under the age of 18, then you will automatically receive the enhancements and do not have to re-apply.

Do you need to apply?

Use this form to apply for all child benefit programs, including the universal child care benefit (UCCB), Canada child tax benefit (CCTB), and the goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) credit.

Find the address of the tax centre where you need to mail your form.

If you have provided your consent to use the Automated Benefits Application (ABA) service on the provincial/territorial birth registration form, you must not use the service apply for benefits online or complete an RC66 for the child. Re-applying may result in a delay in processing your ABA application and issuing payments.
