Charities Partnership and Outreach Program

Canadian registered charities and non-profit organizations can apply for time-limited funding through this program. Funding is provided to help them develop and deliver innovative education and training on compliance to registered charities.

Periodic evaluations are a normal component of all transfer payment programs. They are intended to ensure that a program achieves the results for which it was created. The Canada Revenue Agency is currently implementing the recommendations resulting from an evaluation of the Charities Partnership and Outreach Program.

The seven current projects funded under the program have been extended for a one-year period. They will now end on March 31, 2012.
