Cell phone/VoIP users

If you contact us using a cell phone or a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) such as Skype and your service provider is located in a different time zone than the one you are calling from, you may hear a message saying that our offices are closed. This is because our telephone system identifies your call as coming from the time zone of your service provider.

Individual income tax enquiries: Our automated service is available at all times. Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (local time).

Business enquiries: Our automated service is available at all times. Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (local time).

Benefits enquiries: Our automated service is available all times. Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (local time).

Provincial programs for Ontario (PPO): Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern time).

Payment arrangements (income tax): Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Eastern time).

Payment arrangements (Child and family benefits overpayment): Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Eastern time).

Payment arrangements (other programs): Telephone agents are available Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Eastern time).
