Download the T4 Desktop application

Step 1 - Download and install JRE

You must download and install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your computer before you can use the T4 Desktop application. JRE gives your computer the ability to run Java applications if you don't have it already installed.

You can download a freeware version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from the Oracle Web site. Before starting, take time to read the following instructions to help you download and install your JRE. We suggest you print this page and keep it with you while you are navigating through the Oracle download site.

After you are in the Oracle site, follow these steps to download JRE.

• Click the "Agree and Start Free Download"
• Choose the location where you want to save the file on your computer (for example, Desktop) and click "save". How to install JRE
Once you have downloaded the JRE, double-click on the file located on your desktop. The installer will walk you through the installation. You may be required to close your Web browser and any applications that require Java.

The installer will give you a message when it finishes installing JRE. You will be asked to restart your browser.

Step 2 - Download and install the T4 Desktop application version 12.0

You must first download and install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) JRE on your computer before you can install the T4 Desktop application. Complete the following steps:

• For the T4 Desktop application, save the file t4nstll.exe to your desktop.
• Double click on the Install icon to initiate the installation process. Once you have downloaded the T4 Desktop application, double click on the file. The installer will walk you through the installation.
• Choose your language preference from the drop-down list menu, and click OK.
• After you have read the instructions on the "Introduction" page, click Next.
• After reading the License Agreement, select I Accept and then Next.
• On the "Choose the Java Virtual Machine" screen, select the Java\jre6\bin\java.exe and click Next.
• On the "Choose Install Folder" page, we recommend choosing the default folder, then click Next.

• On the "Choose Shortcut Folder" page, we recommend choosing the default folder, then click Next.
• Pre-Installation Summary - click Install.
• On the "Install Complete" page, click Done.

Step 3 - Starting the desktop application

To launch the desktop application, select Start, Programs, T4 Internet - T4 Par Internet 12.0, and click on T4 Internet - T4 Par Internet 12.0.
