Disclosure of contracts over $10,000

On March 23, 2004, the government announced a new policy on the mandatory publication of contracts over $10,000.

This Web site provides information on contracts issued by or on behalf of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Every three months, we will be reporting contracts awarded by the Agency in the previous three months.

Beginning on October 31, 2004, and every three months thereafter, this Web site will be updated to include information on new contracts awarded when the original contract value is over $10,000. As of January 30, 2009, the CRA will also include information on contracts with an amended contract value over $10,000 and contract amendments when an amendment or a series of amendments to a contract exceed $10,000. If exercised, contract options included in the original contract are disclosed by the CRA as amendments.

The rules and principles governing CRA contracting can be found in the CRA Contracts Directive. The objective of CRA procurement contracting is to acquire goods and services, including construction services, in a manner that enhances access, competition and fairness and results in best value to Canada.
