The My Business Account service from the Canada Revenue Agency provides useful information and services to help Canadian employers in their dealings with the CRA.
View your up-to-date balance for the current and last year calendar year, which includes the amounts you've remitted and owe on your payroll deductions account.
If you want more details, like whether a recent remittance has been posted to the account, check out your recent transactions online - even before you receive your Statement of Account - or transactions as far back as 2004.
My Business Account can also remind you of your remitter status so you will know when the CRA needs to receive your payment.
You can also download the CRA's free software, called T4 Web forms, to create and submit an original or amended T4 information return for 1 to 3 employees.
It calculates the amounts required for the T4 summary so you won't have to do it, and lets you print copies of the slips to provide to your employees.
