Other ways to register

If you cannot complete your registration on-line, you may be able to use other ways to register (phone, mail or fax).

By phone

To register for a business number or a CRA program account, call our toll-free business enquiries line at 1-800-959-5525.

Hours of service: weekdays from 8:15 a.m. to 8 p.m. (local time)

Before calling, be ready to answer all the questions in Part A of Form RC1, Request for a Business Number, and any other questions in the form that relate to the accounts you want to open (e.g. GST, Payroll).

By mail

Once you complete the form, submit it (mail, or fax) to any Tax Services Office.
