Adjustment period for new workers' compensation claims

In many cases, an employer prepares payroll cheques in advance.

As a result, it may not always be possible to place an employee on a loan or advance system immediately after he or she files a claim.

If this happens, we allow you a reasonable period (normally one pay period) to adjust the payroll records to an advance or a loan basis.
