At the prompt "Is your business closed?", press "1" for yes.
Use this option if you want to tell us that your business has closed or permanently stopped operating. If the closure is temporary, or if you are a seasonal employer planning to start up again, do not use this option.
We will ask you to enter the date the business stopped operating. If you do not know the date and cannot estimate one, we will ask you to enter the current date.
Example
If you stopped operating your business on March 21, 2012, you would enter "2012-03-21". Your next statement would indicate the change in your account status.
Near the end of your call, you'll be asked to confirm that the information you've provided is correct.
Your payroll deductions account should be updated by the next business day.
