Column 5: UCC after additions and dispositions (column 2 plus column 3 minus column 4)

You cannot claim capital cost allowance (CCA) when the amount in Column 5 is:

• negative; you then have a recapture of CCA; enter your recapture on line 9947 of Form T776, Statement of Real Estate Rentals; or
• positive and you no longer own any property in that class at the end of the tax year; you then have a terminal loss; enter your terminal loss on line 9948 of Form T776.

In either case, enter "0" in Column 10: UCC at the end of the year.
