A person who is able to get dressed without any help would not qualify for the disability tax credit (DTC).
A person who is able to get dressed with the use of a device or aid without taking an inordinate amount of time would also not qualify for the DTC.
However, a person who must make several attempts and experiences significant discomfort in order to get dressed, even with the help of an aid, may qualify for the DTC because it takes him or her an inordinate amount of time.
