Line 315 - Caregiver amount

You may be able to claim the caregiver amount if, you (either alone or with another person) maintained a dwelling where you and one or more of your or your spouse's or common-law partner's dependants lived. Each dependant must be 18 years of age or older and be dependent on you due to an impairment in physical or mental functions and in the case of parent or grand-parent, born in 1944 or earlier.
