Attendant care or care in an establishment claimed as medical expenses

You can claim the amounts paid for attendant care expenses as medical expenses on line 330 or line 331 of Schedule 1, Federal Tax or as a disability supports deduction on line 215. However, the total you claim cannot be more than the total amount paid.
