Appointment of new Director General

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Danielle Laflèche as Director General of the Registered Plans Directorate effective February 18, 2008. Mrs. Laflèche replaces Mrs. Annelisa Gillespie, who is retiring after 32 years of dedicated public service.

Mrs. Laflèche most recently served as the Director of the Public Service Bodies and Governments Division in the Agency's Excise and GST/HST Rulings Directorate. As a chartered accountant with extensive work experience in auditing and controllership, Mrs. Laflèche brings a solid background in ensuring the continual implementation of the Directorate's mandate to the position.
