Service in Canada

Pension reform update 93-2 outlines the Department's policies relating to the recognition of service outside Canada in a registered pension plan.

Please note that from the date of this newsletter, plans submitted for registration which do not provide benefits for employment outside Canada must clearly indicate that "service" means service rendered in Canada.
